Open Day
On Sunday 4th May 2008 the Cranbourne Fire Brigade held it's first Open Day. The aim of the open day was to give members of the community the opportunity to view our fire station and fire trucks, see displays as well as specialist fire trucks and other emergency services from around the area. Specialist fire trucks included Dandenong Platform, Frankston Breathing Apparatus Support, Officer LPG Flare Off unit and Langwarrin Rescue who performed a mock extrication using the the "Jaws of Life", whilst other emergency services included Ambulance Service Victoria and Victoria Police. A huge amount of work went into the organising the day and our thanks must go to the following:
Metropolitan Ambulance Service Finning First National Real Estate The inaugural open day saw some 600 people pass through the station and due to it's success work has already begun on next years open day.
